The Independent School Benefits Consortium™ (ISBC) is proud to announce its first annual Healthy School Award Winners. This proprietary awards program was established in 2015 to recognize independent schools that embrace a culture of well-being by promoting a healthy lifestyle and environment that positively impacts the lives of the scholastic family and the community. The award has three distinct levels of achievement – Silver, Gold and Platinum – with each level increasing the amount of effort and execution required.

“We believe that all education-based staff members nurture and substantially shape each and every student,” said Pamela Krutkiewicz, Health Management Consultant and Healthy Schools Awards Program Coordinator, ISBC. “These awards demonstrate the commitment of these schools to build a healthier workforce for increased productivity, decreased health risks and increased health care savings to impact teachers to model healthy lifestyle behaviors to their students and the community.”

ISBC is a national platform with representatives located throughout the country to deliver a full range of benefits services built on the foundation of service, price, wellness, choice and transparency.

Since 2003, ISBC has grown and will continue to evolve to meet the challenges facing independent schools’ employee benefits needs. The Consortium’s ability to identify risk, provide financial leverage and proactively promote wellness on an aggregate basis enables ISBC to positively affect the costs associated with health insurance programs.
